Brief

Develop an online platform for GreenCred that serves as a product catalog while also sharing important and valuable information and insights to its audience.

The Solution

A web platform that will act as a go-to journal and reliable source of information for GreenCred users.

Goals for GreenCred

  • Menstruation is still a taboo subject in many parts of the country, GreenCred wants to do its part in reducing this.

    Unlearning Taboo, Period.

  • Ignorance breeds misinformation and superstitions of various kinds. Understanding the basics will slowly transform this.

    Education and Awareness

  • In a corporate environment where women are growing in numbers, it is important to understand the workplace essentials they need.

    Corporate Empathetic Responsibilities

  • Building a sense of urgency and responsibility towards the impact on the environment is crucial. GreenCred wants to do its part.

    Sensitivity towards environment

  • It is important for men to educate themselves and do their part as they may be in a position which holds decision making powers on this subject.

Telling the personal stories of change in the lives of so many New Yorkers in all tiers of the city, is very important to GreenCred. Keeping the people at its centre helps the ultimate goal of GreenCred i.e. to ensure every person in the country has the resources for hygiene and sanitation and understands their part towards waste management.

The Contact page is the most important screen for GreenCred’s business.

The process of making a purchase requires assistance and communication with the GreenCred team.


Making sure users are able to quickly contact the team is vital to generating inquiries that can then be turned into purchases.

Product Browsing

GreenCred intends to use their platform only as an e-catalogue for their products. They don’t intend to convert it to e-commerce.

The products being sold by them require site analysis, demo and installation. Therefore, they are not suitable for e-commerce. 



Details about each product along with the brochure and quick inquiry is enabled through the website.

The Solution

Reflection

I am thrilled with the progress of this project and excited for it's development. While a whirlwind of work, the prospect of me seeing users successfully utilize this rent paying mobile application in market is well beyond my expectations.

If there was more time available…

  • More research, as it‘s a complex and extensive topic with many factors (for example, technical and social challenges) and various stakeholders

  • Conduct more rounds of usability studies to validate the pain points users experienced.

  • Conduct more user research to determine new areas of need or how to improve user experience.

  • Add more features and flexibility backed by research.
